By introducing the chocolate dial and the Everose Rolesor case on the Oyster bracelet, the Rolex Yacht-Master 40 adds another option after last year’s model. A year ago at the Basel Watch Fair, Rolex Yacht Master brought a new Oysterflex strap, a 40 mm case and a 3135 movement. It also has an 18kt Everose (Rookie Pink Gold Alloy) case that is now part of the Rolex Yacht-Master 40 model steel and Rolex. There will also be a new all-steel model, and we should look at you in the coming days.
Many people, including myself, are not experts in the Rolex Yacht-Master series, so I would like to explain that this watch is just a new color scheme in the Rolex Yacht-Master 40 series, not a completely new one. There are several two-color Rolex Master-40 watches, but since this is the first new watch since last year, I think that talking about this watch is more attractive and what it means for the watch’s advancement. So, yes, there are other Rolex yachts – Master 40 watches are already there, but with all their advantages, they do not offer the novelty of the new chocolate dial.
The Rolex Yacht-Master 40 watch looks softer than the matte black dial and the old sibling’s bezel. This Rolex Yacht-Master 40 watch may have some of the charms of a successful Rolex diver as a man. . The straps of Oyster bracelets instead of sporty rubber (Rolex insists on “elastomers”) may help promote sales. Having said that, this is definitely a unisex watch, although I prefer the look of black to Everose.
The two-way rotating bezel of the Rolex Yacht-Master 40 features polished numerals and scales that contrast with the matt sandblasted surface of the 18kt Everose gold bezel. This Rolex Master-Master 40 watch features two warm Everose shades that soften its appearance. The black dial features a matt sandblasted black ceramic bezel with a polished raised figure and scale to maintain a calm appearance. Here, it is softer, brighter, and less masculine.
As with the dial, the chocolate gives excellent sun light effects. The new style of the Rolex Yacht-Master 40 not only uses a matt black dial that is related to Transylvania’s metering light, but is also more popular. Hand and hour markers remain unchanged, 18kt Everose gold and glowing Chromalight decals. Oh, there is the Cyclops on the date window. The Everose Rolesor (which is a 904L steel and 18k Everose gold) of the Rolex Master-Operator 40 looks great and is timeless with the Oysterlock folding safety buckle. Of course Oysterflex is not for everyone, especially when you consider the fact that any of the six size options you choose are stuck.
If you haven’t heard of it yet, Rolex replaces the COSC certification with the new internal Rolex Superchative Chronometer certification (which you can learn here), ensuring that it is accurate to -2 / + 2 seconds per day. The new Rolex yacht owner 40 has the same movement as last year’s movement 3135 movement, and has a new “green seal”, and obtained the Rolex super chronograph certification.
Although I like the red lettering on the black dial, I’m not sure if it’s here. It looks a bit out of date, I can only hope that Rolex at least consider some other options. Then, the first Rolex watch once again paired with the standard Oyster bracelet model, while removing bold red fonts from the dial, it really looked like Rolex had fun with their fans and fans.
